We all want to make sure that the air we breathe is healthy for ourselves and our family. There are so many pollutants and chemicals that could potentially harm us. In Hong Kong where air pollution is a daily struggle, your air conditioners can only block so much dirt and pollutants from getting into your home. So what should you do?

The inside your home is constantly recycled so that you continue to breathe the same dirty air over and over. This means that the air you breathe inside your homes could potentially worsen your allergies or get your sick. Believe it or not, the interior air quality of your house can be two to five times dirtier than the outside because of the dust, gases, mold, bacteria, and viruses that accumulate inside your home.

Thankfully there are ways that you can purify the air quality in your home. The first way is to install purifier in your home. An air purifier is what cleans the air as it comes into your home. Air purifiers clean the air by removing bacteria, odors, mold, smoke, and viruses to that they do not harm you. Air conditioning service companies, can install these for you in your house. Installing an air purifier can improve the quality in your home as well as improve your families and your health.

Another way to improve the quality inside your home is to make sure that your home has good ventilation. Air is recycled constantly throughout your house. Without good ventilation, the air can become old and stale. One way to prevent this from happening is to make sure that your change your conditioning filters. They should be changed at least once every three months. This will ensure that clean air is getting inside your home. You should also open your house windows whenever you get the chance. Opening your windows will allow for new fresh air to get inside your home.

That last way to improve the quality in your home is to monitor the amount of gases that get into your house. This is usually only a problem for those older homes that have appliances like a gas stove. Limiting the emissions that build up in your home can only improve your quality. Limiting the emissions will also decrease the chance of gas poisoning or sickness.
